Message from the President

Our goal is to become an eyewear brand that enriches the lives of people around the world and contribute to the further development of Sabae's eyewear industry.

In February 2025, we announced a secondary offering of our shares and a change of listing market to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market, but we were forced to cancel and withdraw the offer due to the insider trading by one of our executives. We deeply apologize to our shareholders and investors for any inconvenience and concern this has caused.
As we have already announced, we have commissioned an outside lawyer to investigate the cause and propose measures to prevent recurrence.
We take seriously the fact that we were unable to prevent the incident and will further strengthen our compliance and governance awareness.

Our company was established in 2021 as a holding company that integrates two brands: Kaneko Optical, which was founded as Kaneko Optical Co., Ltd. in 1958, and Four Nines, which founded the 999.9 brand in 1995.

Both brands are eyewear brands that mainly sell mid- to high-priced glasses. As of the end of January 2025, Kaneko Optical sells its products through 89 directly managed stores in Japan and abroad, while Four Nines sells its products through 16 directly managed stores in Japan and abroad, as well as through the stores of many dealers.

We are strongly committed to manufacturing the eyeglass frames we sell in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, one of the world's three largest eyeglass production sites. In particular, Kaneko Optical has a total of four factories in Sabae City, and has built a consistent production system from planning, designing, and manufacturing eyeglass frames, making it a rare presence in the industry.

This strong commitment has successfully won high evaluation by our customers both in Japan and abroad, thus our business performance remains steady.

In March 2025, we announced our long-term vision, "Share Japanese traditional craftsmanship and innovation with the world."

Craftsmanship is the act of making each pair of glasses carefully and wholeheartedly, with pure passion and uncompromising spirit, which is the solid starting point of the JEH Group. All employees will strive to create value through eyewear, with craftsmanship in mind, transcending the boundaries between "manufacturer" and "retailer."

Sharing the tradition and innovation of craftsmanship with the world has been JEH Group's strong will since its founding, and by realizing this vision, we aim to become a global eyewear company loved by people all over the world.

In the mid-term five-year plan announced at the same time as the long-term vision, we set a goal of achieving sales of 28 billion yen and operating profit of 10 billion yen in the fiscal year ending January 2030, which is the final year of the five-year plan. We expect that overseas customers sales would account for 45% or more of the total sales of 28 billion yen.

Along with expanding our business, we will continue to provide sufficient returns to shareholders.

Regarding dividends, we will implement a flexible dividend policy while considering growth investment opportunities, cash and deposit balances, etc., with a dividend payout ratio of 40% of consolidated net income as a guideline.

We will also actively consider share buybacks, taking into account the improvement in the liquidity of our shares.

Our management philosophy is:

"Through eyewear, to inspire the world,
to add to the world's cultural richness,
and to share our prosperity with all our contributors."

Always true to these words, our team produces and sells glasses of high customer satisfaction.

We would like to thank you, all stakeholders, for your continued support and encouragement.

March 2025

President

Shinya Kaneko
